Security Analyzer

Security for Custom Reports, Public Web APIs, and WQL are all organized in easily accessible views.

• Custom Reports: Select any Workday User Account and lookup any Custom Report. Analyze all displayed fields, referenced fields, data sources, and data source filters. Review the needed domains against the security of any selected Workday User Account.

• Public Web API: Select any Workday User Account. Search for any web service operation in the Public Web API and identify needed security domains. Review the needed domains against the security of any selected Workday User Account.

• WQL: Use the powerful WQL parser to automatically identify fields and data sources in your WQL. Queries are then analyzed for required security domains and compared against the security of any selected Workday User Account.

• WQL Library: Save your company’s commonly used WQL in Workday and leverage Workday’s API to reuse the stored queries. Analyze the queries by selecting them from the WQL library.
